NeuronicWorks Announces New CEO and COO Positions for Company Co-Founders
Toronto, Ontario, June 1st, 2020
NeuronicWorks, one of Canada’s leading full-product engineering and design houses, has announced that effective June 1st, 2020, company co-founders Simona Botos and Titu Botos will be taking on new roles within the company.
Simona Botos, the current President, will take the newly created role of NeuronicWorks’ Chief Operations Officer (COO), with responsibilities for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. Titu Botos, currently VP Engineering, will assume the newly created role of NeuronicWorks’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with responsibilities for the overall management of the company and in charge of defining the company vision and growth strategy.
“We are updating the company’s structure in order to better position ourselves for the next growth cycles as we continue to evolve,” said Titu Botos of the change. “Simona and I, and the entire NeuronicWorks team, are ready to take on the future, to grow and diversify our services, to continue supporting our customers with all their projects’ needs, and to help them succeed.”
With a background in computer science, Simona Botos held a variety of software development and managerial roles in the industry before co-founding NeuronicWorks in 2009 and assuming the role of company President. With her acute sense of reality and her detailed eye, Simona brought NeuronicWorks from inception to a powerful product design house, achieving an impressive and constant growth year after year.
Titu Botos holds a Ph.D. in electronics and mobile robotics and brings with him more than 25 years’ experience in hardware and firmware design, as well as a strong background in engineering research and training, and a keen interest in emerging technologies and their possible practical applications. He co-founded NeuronicWorks in 2009, assuming the role of VP Engineering. A true visionary, Titu is the driving force behind the ever-growing company structure, services and partnerships, aiming to establish NeuronicWorks as a world-class design house.
