electronics hardware design services

Our hardware engineers are industry veterans in product design. With a portfolio spanning from consumer products and wearable devices to telecommunication and aerospace, we know how to transform your idea into a reality.

We will engineer the best solution for your requirements and objectives. Whether it is a compact wearable or large industrial automation board, every project receives the same standard of care and skillful workmanship. From start to finish, our capabilities include system design, schematic design, PCB layout, production, testing and documentation. We stand behind our designs, that’s why when you receive yours, we also provide support and service.

We transform high speed, density and performance into low difficulty. Talk to us today about your analog, digital or mixed-signal project; your control or instrumentation needs; or your micropower or kilowatt idea. We know the latest technologies and serve as a design house for many of the industry’s top vendors. We specialize in helping you find the best components and options to meet your cost, size and time objectives.

Proficiencies: Cadence OrCAD, Mentor PADS, Altium Designer, Autodesk EAGLE

Electronic Hardware Design to suit your objectives

Portfolio

An essential component of early-stage design is the product mock-up or proof-of-concept. Your idea is first built using standard components and off-the-shelf modules, then once tested and satisfactory, we integrate the components into your custom solution.

We will design the necessary blueprints required to drive your hardware project. From ultra-low power to KW systems, from low noise to switching circuits, from analog and digital to mixed circuitry we are ready to tackle any hardware design hurtle. We choose each component based on your performance, quality, availability, and budget, then assemble them into a clear, logical schematic of your product.

Component placement is essential for the “flow” of the board and for system functionality, along with proper thermal management and to achieve low noise performance. Whether you are looking for a small sensor or telecommunications backplane, your design is within our capability.
Our Portfolio includes:

  • Rigid and Flex PCBs, multi-PCB assemblies
  • High speed digital, analog, mixed-signal and RF designs
  • High current, voltage, and power designs
  • Designs for harsh operating conditions, extreme temperatures and environments
  • Compact and miniaturized designs
  • High volume designs

Assembling the prototype is one of the most rewarding steps of the process. Seeing the final pieces of the puzzle come together is priceless. We offer in-house assembly capability for low-volume production and prototype runs.
Our services include:

  • PCB assembly, programming and testing
  • Cable and wiring harness assembly
  • Chassis and case assembly
  • Final assembly

The bring-up phase is a key milestone as your product comes to life for the first time. Individual subsystems are tested and tuned for optimal functionality.
We start at the foundation of your design by testing its power systems. Ensuring that your design is properly powered is essential for the nominal operation of all other components. We also measure and control for radiated emissions so that your design can meet regulatory (FCC/Industry Canada) requirements.
We continue onto unit testing the digital and analog features of your design. Some of the typical functions we perform are programming microcontrollers to read and write to peripherals; probing communications buses check for signal integrity, and tuning and matching RF networks.
Once satisfied that your design is functional, system integration can begin.

After the first bring-up test, we ensure that integration with firmware, software and the mechanics is seamless. We build your system one component at a time, increasing complexity with every step. We always verify correct functionality alongside the requirements list to ensure a successful delivery.
